South County Window Cleaning: from a free page to commercial bids.
A free Wix page under someone else’s banner became the company’s own site, with every service and a 16-town service map. Within weeks, a San Jose company the business had bid for praised the new site, and a South Bay real estate group found it through a search and invited it to bid on all of its offices.
From the Report Card to live, and what the site carries.

A growing business on a free page nobody could remember.
South County Window Cleaning had years of repeat customers and a growing list of services: windows, power washing, solar panel cleaning, solar netting, gutters, screens and seasonal Christmas lights. Its website had not kept up. It sat on a free Wix address that nobody could remember, under a banner that advertised Wix instead of the business. It listed only the services the company started with, and showed no hours, no service area and no reviews.

The same phone, the same screen, a different first impression.
Each pair is the same phone and the same screen a customer sees. The old Wix page is still online, so the before screens are from today, side by side with the new site. Drag across a screen, or use its arrow keys, to compare.

Before, the free Wix page
- A Wix ad across the top, on an address nobody could remember
- A welcome line and a Contact button; no services, hours or towns
After, the company’s own site
- Its own address and logo, with no ad banner
- Every service named in the first screen
- Call or text, one tap, and a Call button that never leaves the screen
Both on the same phone screen, October 14, 2026, each site in the layout it gives a phone. The old Wix page is still online at its free address; the name of another business on the building in its photo is blurred.

Before, the services section
- General paragraphs about honest, efficient work
- Only the services the company started with
After, the Services page
- Seven services, each with its own section, in the company’s own words
- The company’s own photos of real jobs
- A link from the home page straight to each service
Both on the same phone screen, October 14, 2026.

Before, the contact area
- A Contact button and a photo
- No towns, no service area, no hours
After, the service area
- 16 towns, with Gilroy, Morgan Hill and Los Gatos first
- An interactive map of the area, from San Jose down to Carmel
- The hours and three ways to reach the company on the same page
Both on the same phone screen, October 14, 2026.
Its own address, its own words, its own work.
- Its own address. The business moved to southcountywindowcleaning.com, with no ad banner, a clean logo and a header that holds up on a small phone.
- Every service in the company’s own words. The company rewrote the descriptions itself, and they shipped as written. The site uses its own photos of real jobs. A before-and-after slider shows a commercial solar carport it cleaned.
- Where it works, at a glance. An interactive service-area map covers 16 towns, from San Jose and Saratoga down through Gilroy and Hollister to Santa Cruz, Salinas, Monterey and Carmel.
- One tap to reach the crew. A call button sits on every page.
- Found by search. It has a description search engines can read (business type, towns, hours, phone), a sitemap, and Google Search Console set up.
The Report Card went out on August 24, and the site went live on September 4. That included the logo round and the company’s approvals.
Looking legit at the moment it counts.

Live 11 days later, on its own address.
Every service, the 16-town map and the company’s own photos, with the logo round and the company’s approvals included.
A San Jose company it had bid for saw the new site.
They told the company it was “way better than most of the other companies” in its trade.
Found through a search, invited to bid on all of its offices.
A South Bay real estate office group looked the company up, found the site, called, and invited it to bid on all of its South Bay offices.
About the eleven days. The site was built, and through the owner’s first round of notes, by August 28. The days after that were his to decide: a logo from six directions, his approval of the site and the new address. It went live on September 4.

“It seems like the website is helping out a lot. They said they just looked me up, saw the website and said it looked legit, so they called. It’s helping out even more than I expected.”
“Loomwest was great from start to finish! They built me a professional 3-page website, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.”
What we know, and what we do not claim.
- The two calls come from South County Window Cleaning’s own messages to us in September 2026, quoted with the company’s permission. We do not name either company that called.
- We do not claim either bid was won. That is the company’s news to share, and we have not been told.
- There are no visit numbers here on purpose: counting on the site began on October 6, a month after these calls, so traffic is not this story.
- Speed: Google PageSpeed Insights, phone test, October 14, 2026. The grade is our free Website Report Card of the old site, dated August 24, 2026.
- The before screens are the old Wix page, which is still online, captured on October 14, 2026, on the same phone screen as the new site and in the phone layout Wix serves a phone. One change: the name of another business, on the building in the old page’s photo, is blurred.
- The review is the owner’s public Google review of Loomwest; we quote the part Google shows without opening “More”, word for word.
These numbers are measured again every week, from the live site: speed on Google’s own phone test, visits and taps from the site’s cookie-free counter.
